Day 1 – Shkodër to Theth

We begin early in the morning, traveling from Shkodër toward the stunning mountain village of Theth.
The scenic drive takes approximately 2 hours, including a short panoramic photo stop along the way.

Discover Theth

Located within Theth National Park, Theth is one of Albania’s most spectacular natural destinations, known for its dramatic peaks, fresh alpine air, and traditional stone houses.

Highlights include:

• The Blue Eye (Kaprre)
• Grunas Waterfall
• Church of Theth
• Lock-in Tower

Enjoy free time to explore, hike, take photos, or simply relax in this peaceful alpine setting.

Day 2 – Theth to Valbona (Self-Guided Hike)

Experience one of the most famous hiking routes in the Balkans — the legendary Theth to Valbona trail.

🥾 Self-Guided Mountain Hike

The transfer from Theth to Valbona Valley National Park is completed on foot via a scenic mountain trail.

Important Information:

• The hike is self-guided
• No guide or group escort is provided
• Participants are responsible for completing the trail independently
• Good physical condition is required
• Proper hiking gear is essential

Hiking Duration: 6–7 hours

Please Bring:

• Suitable hiking clothing
• Comfortable hiking shoes
• Water and snacks
• Sun protection

Arrival in Valbona is expected in the afternoon. Enjoy free time to relax and experience the peaceful mountain atmosphere. Sugested to book hotels in advance!

Day 3 – Valbona – Komani Lake – Shala River – Shkodër

07:45 AM – Pick-up from guesthouses or hotels near the center of Valbona. ⇢ View in Google Maps.

After a scenic mountain drive, arrival at Fierzë Port is expected at approximately 08:40 AM.

🚤 Boat Trip on Komani Lake

09:30 AM – Departure by boat from Fierzë Port across Komani Lake.

Enjoy a breathtaking 1 hour and 40-minute cruise through dramatic cliffs, deep canyons, and crystal-clear waters. The scenery is often compared to Norwegian fjords.

11:10 AM – Arrival at Shala River.

🌊 Free Time at Shala River

Spend approximately 4 hours at Shala River, often called “The Thailand of Albania” due to its turquoise waters and untouched natural beauty.

Swim, relax, explore, or simply enjoy the spectacular scenery.

⛴ Transfer to Komani Lake Ferry

03:00 PM – Boat departure from Shala River
04:00 PM – Arrival at Koman Port, where we get the Bus

🚐 Transfer to Shkodër

04:10 PM – Minibus transfer from Koman Port to Shkodër

Arrival in Shkodër is expected at approximately 06:00 PM, marking the end of the tour.
